I was shocked when the kids wanted to color eggs. This just goes to prove that your never too old to add a little color at Easter time.

Amanda spent a great deal of time making sure her eggs were the perfect color. I wonder where she got that from?????

While Brett was at General Priesthood Meeting, we went to dinner and carried on the Easter egg tradition.

Chase's Easter goods.

Amanda's loot.

Easter Stuff- Amanda got several art supplies, a pair of shorts and the shirt she has on.

Two days before Easter Chase told me that he would only believe in the Easter bunny if he brought Mortal Combat (an Xbox game that runs about $60.00). The Easter bunny had other plans, instead he got a lego set, Blind Side a bunch of candy and the new shirt he has on. He never said anything more about the game. I guess we will see what next years conversation brings.

She has turned into a young lady!!!!!

Our little man. Who am I kidding he's just about as tall as me.

The Bailey cousins. We had dinner and an Easter egg hunt Easter afternoon. Typically the Easter Egg hunt happens outside. This year the weather didn't cooperate, so Grandpa hid the eggs inside. Amanda and Chase are "too old" for the hunt. All the older grandkids had to go on a scavenger hunt to find their goods. Clue after clue they searched. Grandpa did a fantastic job stumping them all. After a long hunt (about 30 minutes) they hit the jackpot.

Chase is being awarded his arrow of light
(Chase and scout leader Jason Peterson)

Proud Parents- You did it Chase!!!

The marks of a wolf, bear, and weblo- He hated this part. As soon as he was awarded his arrow of light, the paint came off.

Good sport!

Reciting the scout moto and scout law

We took a little trip to Vegas to get out of the cold. It was wonderful. 70 degrees- paradise in our eyes.

Kicken it by Eileen's pool

Lovin the sun

All we wanted to do is lay in the sun

Yes we supported our Viking! It was a sad day in our house when they lost in the conference finals. This should have been our year!!!!

Can't wait for Christmas!!!

Ashworth Christmas Party- Decorating Gingerbread Houses

Concentrate- Your off to a great start

The final product

Every year at the Ashworth Christmas party the kids act out the nativity scene. Paige and Linley were the angles, Chase was Joseph, Sara was Mary, Chandler was a wiseman and Evy was baby Jesus. Now that's the true meaning of Christmas.

The Christmas Carol at Eastlake Elementary- 2009

Chase was Scrouge in The Christmas Carol at school. Mom was so proud of him. Believe it or not Chase has an acting side to him. Although he was so nervous. His first comment when he came home from school that day was, "mom I DID IT!!!"

The crew awaiting food- Everyone is so excited for Christmas! We love this Ashworth tradition. We have been doing it for years.

Our famous Christmas Eve breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. Sadly enough Brett had to work.

One of our traditions is opening one gift Christmas Eve. Wow its PJays again. SURPRISE!

Don't let Amanda and Chase fool you, they love our little tradition. I over heard Chase telling Amanda that he had a certain pair of pajamas in mind this year.

Opening gifts at Grandpa and Grandma Bailey's- you gotta love cash
